Poetry of Longing is a collection of poems and visual art about exile, faith, and the quiet ache of feeling like you do not belong in this world.
When even your joints don't sit quite right in their sockets, you start to carry longing as part of who you are. The pain becomes a compass.
What does it cost to be homesick for a place you've never fully seen, but have always felt in your bones? This is the ache of searching for a memory you can't remember, of reaching to touch a star. Does it ever fade? Or maybe it was just pointing somewhere else, all along.
Some of my poems are raw, others tender. Some are whispered like a prayer, and some are cried out from the floor. They move from unrest to surrender, from doubt toward a stubborn, unshakeable light and hope.
I write for the other pilgrims out there, or just anyone living in the gap between the world we're in and the one our souls keep reaching for. To all these burning stars, yearning for home...
